SCSD Draft Code of Conduct
What do YOU think?
Does it go far enough in ensuring the maintenance of a safe, chaos-free learning
environment for ALL students in the district?
Does it adequately safeguard the rights of students and staff?
environment for ALL students in the district?
Does it adequately safeguard the rights of students and staff?
Will it create an environment where students learn appropriate ways to
handle anger and frustration?
Does the district have the right resources in place to effectively implement this code?
Will it impact instructional time for students in the classroom?
Instruction time will decrease. When I cannot have a disruptive student removed, the other students will lose out. It is not the first time I ask a student to stop talking, it is the thousandth time I ask them becomes a problem. What does society not understand about this. Police do not ask you several time to obey the law. I get one chance. Why do we keep giving students chance after chance after chance. Those students who are only in school to "have a good time" should have their own school.
